HamCon Colorado 2009

'Till HamCon Colorado 2009

Jeff Ryan, KØRM

Great  people, great location,  great event !!  On behalf of the Colorado Section, thanks to the sponsoring clubs and the HAMCON committee for a very successful 2006 convention.  I have had so many wonderful comments about the convention from folks I've known for years, and folks I just met in Estes Park during this event. It took a tremendous volunteer effort to present this convention for the Amateur Radio community and the positive response lets us know that the time was well spent.  See you all again in 2009!

Jeff Ryan, KØRM
Section Manager
Colorado Section, ARRL

Jerry Verduft, ADØA

Well, we had another successful convention in beautiful Estes Park and thanks to all of you that attended. I want to personally thank the sponsoring clubs and the convention committee for their excellent support and energy in planning and executing this convention. The technical session speakers were superb and the vendors and exhibitors were tremendous.

I now pass the baton to Steve Williams KØSRW who will be your Convention General Chairman for 2009. Please give him all the support and enthusiasm you have shown me and let's continue to make Colorado a great place for "radio active" people to enjoy.

Very 73,

Jerry VerDuft ADØA
Convention General Chairman, Hamcon Colorado 2006
Assistant Section Manager for Conventions

The 2006 Comittee

Your Hamcon Colorado 2006 Committee would like to add our thanks to each and everyone who has made this convention such a success. We have heard so many comments about how good the convention was, including top notch speakers, excellent facilities and a great banquet. Some even stated that of all the conventions they had been to around the country, this was definitely the best.

The Hamcon Colorado 2006 Committee would also like to thank our General Convention Chairman, Jerry Verduft for his many years of service and leadership!!!
